The working principle of the Oil Filter Cooling Housing Assembly:

Oil entering the filter: When the vehicle engine is running, the oil pump sucks in oil with impurities from the inlet of the oil filter base assembly. These impurities include metal shavings, dust, carbon deposits oxidized at high temperatures, and gel like precipitates

Impurity filtration: The engine oil enters the outer side of the filter paper through a check valve. Under the action of engine oil pressure, the engine oil enters the central pipe through the filter paper, while impurities in the engine oil are left on the filter paper. In this way, impurities in the engine oil are effectively intercepted, ensuring that the oil supplied to the engine remains clean

Engine oil supply: The filtered clean engine oil flows into the main oil passage through the central pipe and supplies various lubricating components of the engine, such as the crankshaft, connecting rod, camshaft, piston rings, etc. These components are lubricated, cooled, and cleaned with clean engine oil, thereby extending their service life

Structural composition: The oil filter base assembly is mainly composed of filter paper, housing, sealing ring, supporting spring, and bypass valve. The filter paper is responsible for filtering impurities, the shell provides protection, the sealing ring ensures sealing, the supporting spring maintains the shape of the filter paper, and the bypass valve allows oil to pass directly when the filter is clogged, preventing the engine from being damaged due to lack of lubrication
